Wink are excited to announce their first youth brand ambassador 11 year old Mimi James. Wink started selling their range of yoga, pole dance and fitness clothing in children's sizes earlier this year. Mimi and her lovely mum Kelly have approached Wink for several years trying on outfits in the hope that Mimi would soon fit into them. Now that youth pole has become more popular, Wink are getting more and more requests for smaller sizes. Children's pole has become more recognised as a serious sport with more and more children's classes and competitions becoming available worldwide. Mimi was one of the youth pole dancers to come along to Wink's first youth shoot, as well as World Pole Sports Chamion 2nd place winner Aimee Hilton. Mimi blew us away with her fantastic personality, enthusiasm and passion for both pole dance, and for our clothing.
Mimi James Bio:
Mimi is 11 years old and started pole at 6 with Ruth Vass at Spin City Brimpton, she now also trains with MPD UK winner Daniel Rosen at IFA Pole and Aerial.
At such a young age Mimi wasn't taken seriously but soon people realised that she was here to stay. Over the years Mimi has tried every form of movement possible but she loves contemporary dance as she can be expressive and combine it with pole, the perfect combination in Mimi's opinion.

- Got To Dance 2014 - Kimberley Wyatt said she was so impressed, so elegant and she hopes she keeps it up. Adam Garcia said Mimi was excellent!
Mimi hopes to one day be like her Idols, Daniel Rosen, Bendy Kate and Charlotte Robertson to name a few, travelling around the world teaching pole and maybe even having her own pole school.
